Cosmic Blues, an exhibition of Alain Paiement’s recent works, was based on a quest for the sublime in a time of planetary climate change. Looking closely at each of the images displayed, Sylvain Campeau discerns the shell game that Paiement plays in order to confront us with the excess of things in the world and our consumerist frenzy.
