In 2017, the Ursulines congregation announced that they had to retire from their convent in Old Quebec, which they had occupied since 1639. Geneviève Thibault's longstanding relationship with their community led to the exhibition Corps habité, presented at DRAC. "Thibault thus evinces her great respect for the nuns’ private way of life, assigning viewers the status of guest in a unique world that will never be theirs." writes Alexandra Tourigny-Fleury.
