Sébastien Cliche
Fluctuation du semblable
— Jean-Michel Quirion
Sébastien Cliché’s installation, which Jean-Michel Quirion described as “imposingly complex,” Fluctuation d’un semblable reflected a reorganization of work driven by overperformance, efficiency, and automation. Algorithmic prints, “out-of-frame” works, and staged tensions around artificial intelligence gave the author the sense of a speculative, dehumanized future society, where, as he writes, “all the remains are the vestiges of an (over)-bureaucratized world.”
